Reading with a dog is fun and can help children increase enthusiasm for reading, develop reading skills, and gain confidence in interacting with animals.

Children of all ages are invited to come to meet and read to Poe a Newfoundland and member of BPL's visiting therapy dog team. Poe is a member of Love on a Leash! He will be accompanied by his owner, Mr. Larry.
Students are invited to take individual turns reading to Poe.

Bentonville Public Library is a department of the City of Bentonville. Bentonville Public Library is located just 3 blocks south of the Downtown Square, at 405 S. Main Street in Bentonville, Arkansas. Facility amenities include adult collection, children's and teen spaces, private study rooms, event spaces, makerspace and digital lab, genealogy research center, sensory and wellness room, business centers, book club lounge, and café.
