Join us at the library for an afternoon with the NWA Ballet Theatre!
The Nutcracker is coming to the library! Join us as professional ballet dancers from NWA Ballet Theatre take us to the Land of Sweets. These dancers will tell the story of Clara, a girl who receives a magical nutcracker doll who transforms into a prince and takes her to a beautiful realm of dancing confections. We will read the story together, watch the Marzipan ballerinas dance, and even learn some ballet mime! There will be a question and answer afterwards, followed by a chance to take your picture with the ballerinas.
We invite all to participate in this delectable sampling of the NWA Conservatory of Classical Ballet's 10th Annual production of The Nutcracker with professional guest artists from NWA Ballet Theatre. This library event serves as a free, public preview to the ticketed shows planned for the holiday season.
Due to limited capacity in the Library’s Walmart Community Room, free tickets are required for each person to attend. Tickets can be picked up at the BPL Children’s Desk beginning at 9AM the day of the event on a first-come, first-serve basis. All attendees must be present to pick up tickets.
