Informational presentation to encourage community between Muslim and non-Muslim neighbors
Dr. Hamed Alamat, a professor at NWACC and an Imam at the Bentonville Islamic Center, will share a presentation on Islam and Islamic culture. The presentation will cover topics such as faith, culture, food, and traditions.
This program is intended for non-Muslims seeking to understand Islam and Islamic culture.
About Dr. Hamed Alamat
Dr. Hamed Alamat graduated from the Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies PhD program at the University of Arkansas in 2021. He holds a master's degree in Linguistics from California State University and has another MA and BA in English Language and Literature from Jordan. He is a professor of English at NWACC since August 2019.
