Join author Lori Ann Wood as she discusses her battle with heart failure and how the process made her confront questions in her faith and her life.
Lori Ann Wood was diagnosed with end stage heart failure in what seemed like an out-of-nowhere diagnosis. In retrospect, she had subtle indicators for years. Instead of asking my doctor questions about her symptoms, she ignored them until they grew into a huge health crisis. During this time, she also had to confront questions in her life and faith. This presentation will include the heart failure warning signs that were missed, as well as the power she has discovered in sometimes not knowing the answer, but in having permission (and courage) to ask the questions.
